Mr. Shlomo Nimrodi brings with him more than 20 years track record leading technology companies, in wide range of industries, locally and internationally, turning them into profitable businesses, creating expanded markets for technological innovations.
Among the companies Shlomo has led are: Epana Networks – a $200+ million revenue communications and financial services company; Raytel Cardiac Services - a leading company in the field of remote monitoring of cardiac services that was sold to Philips; Nexus Data - a leading company in the AMR field that was sold to Sensus Metering Systems; Vizrt – a publicly traded world leading company in broadcast graphics, and Indigo, as the CFO and COO, the market leader in digital printing technology that was sold to HP in early 2000.
Mr. Nimrodi graduated with an MA and MBA with Honors in 1983 from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP156) in 1999 at Harvard Business School.
Avi serves as the CFO of Ramot. He holds a B.A. degree in Accounting and Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Prior to joining Ramot in 2006, Avi was comptroller at Eltek Ltd., a publicly traded manufacturer of advanced printed circuit boards (NASDAQ: ELTK), and also worked at Nessuah Zannex, a publicly traded stock brokerage company.
Keren has extensive experience in structuring and negotiating complex licensing, development and technology transfer arrangements, research collaboration agreements and other commercial transactions with a focus on intellectual property.
She holds a B.A. in Economics and LL.B. and LL.M. degrees, all from Tel Aviv University, and has been a member of the Israeli Bar Association since 2000. Keren joined Ramot in February 2007. Prior to joining Ramot, she served as legal counsel at Yeda Research and Development Co. Ltd., the technology transfer office of the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Prior to that, Keren served as legal counsel at RiT Technologies Ltd., a publicly traded Israeli company.
Shulamit is responsible for intellectual property issues at Ramot.
She is a member of the AIPPI association, holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Tel Aviv University and is registered as a patent attorney with the Israeli Ministry of Justice. Prior to joining Ramot in September 2005, Shulamit was a Senior Patent Attorney at Reinhold Cohn and Partners, a major Israeli full-service intellectual property firm. Prior to that, she held the position of R&D chemist at MacDermid, Israel, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MacDermid Inc., a global specialty chemicals company serving the diversified needs of the electronics and printing industries.
During her career, Rona gained vast experience in business management in the Healthcare and Aesthetic industry; leading biotechnology and medical device entrepreneurship and commercialization.
Since 2010, Rona led the Business Development for Syneron Medical under Dr. Shimon Eckhouse – founder and Chairman of the board. She was responsible for market and technology due diligence and for the strategic planning and implementation of Syneron’s Topical Division. Previously, in 2008, Rona was the CEO of Cupola Medical, an early seed startup at Naiot Venture Accelerator - The Ofer Group, developing its technology and business strategies. Prior to Cupola, in 2001, she was the Vice President Aesthetics for Colbar Lifescience, where she led all commercial aspects; establishing the Brand strategy, Sales channels and Strategic partnering including M&A with Johnson & Johnson for 160 million dollar in 2007. In 1999 she was Business Unit Director for Dexxon Pharmaceuticals and led the Middle-East market penetration strategy for Recordati S.p.A.
Rona holds an M.B.A from Haifa University and an M.Sc. In Chemistry from Technion Israeli Institute of Technology, both Summa cum Laude.
Prior to joining Ramot, Oren held the position of Head of Product Management at Powermat Technologies, worldwide leader in design and manufacturing semiconductor solutions of wireless components and subsystems for Consumer Electronics market. Before that, Oren served as Product Line Manager at Rad-Bynet Group, specializes in monitoring and network service performance analysis of next-generation cellular and wireline networks for communications service providers and equipment vendors.
Oren holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics engineering from Tel-Aviv University and an Executive MBA in Finance from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Dr. Elkeles serves as VP Business Development, Life Sciences, and brings over 16 years of experience in the Israeli life science sector, having held key executive positions in several biotechnology companies. Before joining Ramot, he was Chief Technology Officer and Chief Business Development Officer at Micromedic, a cancer diagnostic cluster company, where he led commercialization, out licensing and in licensing activities. Previously, Dr. Elkeles served as CEO of Zetiq Technologies Ltd., a cancer diagnostic company, where he evolved the company from a pre-clinical stage to having a fully commercial product and a portfolio of pipeline products in clinical stage. Prior to joining Zetiq, Dr. Elkeles served as Drug Development Manager for BiolineRx, where he led the pre-clinical development of a biological anti-cancer drug, and as manager at XTL Biopharmaceuticals, where he headed the development of fully human recombinant antibodies for infectious diseases as well as managing animal model, immunology and molecular biology units.
Dr. Elkeles holds MSc and PhD degrees from the Tel Aviv University, an MBA from the College of Management, and has completed a three-year post-doctoral fellowship in Molecular Cell Biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science. Dr. Elkeles is an alumnus of the Paul Merage life science executive leadership program at UC Irvine California.
Elisha manages business development activities for life science technologies developed at TAU.
He holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the Weizmann institute of Science in Rehovot and an MBA from bar- Ilan University.
Prior to joining Ramot in 2015, Elisha served as a Director of Business Development for Protalix Biotherapeutics Ltd. a biotechnology Company focused on the development and commercialization of therapeutic proteins through a plant cell-based protein expression system, and then as a Director of Business Development for Evogene Ltd., a plant genomics company, that enhances seed traits and crop productivity.
Yair is heading Ramot's Projects Department which is responsible for budget control, procurement and reporting for all R&D projects managed by Ramot. Yair holds a B.A. degree in Accounting and General History and an MBA, both from Tel Aviv University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Prior to joining Ramot in 2005, Yair worked at Ernst & Young.
Dr. Mangelus oversees the identification and development process of all healthcare and biologic promising innovations that are candidates for commercialization. Dr. Mangelus has over 13 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Before joining Ramot , Dr. Mangelus served as a program leader , taking drugs for CNS and oncology indications from early stage research to late stage clinical phases at Pharmos, Genta, and Novaremed . She is also a co-founder of PhiloGene Inc., a biotech company in the field of protein therapeutics. Miriam holds a PhD in Neurobiochemistry from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from Ben-Gurion University.
Maya brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing, communications and public relations to her role as marketing director at Ramot.
Before joining to Ramot, Maya led Marketing department at Outform, bringing eminence and brand awareness to help drive business results. At Leadcom Integrated Solutions, Maya managed the marketing communication department, rebranding and strengthening the company's position through mergers, acquisitions and a successful IPO. She received her MBA degree in International Marketing from the University of Derby and her B.A degree in Behavioral Sciences from the college of management. Maya also holds a Multi-disciplinary Design diploma from Tel Aviv College of Design.
Naor heads the accounting department of Ramot and responsible for budget control and reporting for research projects of the Momentum Fund.
He joined Ramot in 1989 and holds a BA degree in Economics and Management from the College of Management Academic Studies.
